Subzero Blanking Panels

Blanking panels are an integral part of any data center airflow management solution. When empty space in racks are left uncovered this allows by-pass airflow to create inner rack recirculation. This causes inconsistent temperature along the rack face, and makes it difficult to manage a consistent temperature along the cold aisle. By using blanking panels to fill up those empty spaces we eliminate these issues. The Subzero blanking panels prevent the transfer of hot or cold airflow by occupying unused rack space at each U. Subzero blanking panels are made from UL specifications that meet or exceed data center standards. Alpine Power Systems is a value-added reseller of Subzero Engineering products.

Blanking Panel Technical Specifications:

• UL® recognized Std 94V-0, 5V; ISO 9001 and 14001 Certified Physical properties meet ASTM D-792, D-638, D790, D-256, D-785, and D-648, specifications

• Material thickness: 0 .028” thermo plastic sheet / textured / Black (colors available)

• Material can be cut to appropriate vertical length using scissors or shear, and hole punch.

• Plastic thumb screws and matching rack mount “clip” nuts available separately. Optional widths (greater than 24”) available upon request.
