Saft SCL-P & SCM SCL P and SCM single cells deliver exceptional reliability against unexpected outages for industrial installations where continuity and reliability of power supplied is critical. They are ideally suited for switch tripping, emergency lighting, alarms and DC instrumentation.

SCL P and SCM Ni-Cd single cells: reliability, no risk of sudden death or thermal runaway

SCL P and SCM single cells provide:

• a long service life of 20 years or more,

• minor maintenance requirements due to large electrolyte reserve,

• outstanding resistance to electrical and mechanical abuse,

• excellent charge retention,

• a long shelf life and

• long operation over a wide temperature range.

SCL P cells are designed for long discharge periods, typically 2 hours and longer. SCM cells are designed for medium discharge periods between 30 minutes and 3 hours.

SCL P (L type)

• Capacity range at C5A rate: from 10 Ah to 70 Ah

• Typical discharge range is 2 hours and longer

• Pocket plate technology

• Operate in temperatures from - 20°C to + 50°C

SCM (M type)

• Capacity range at C5A rate: from 11 Ah to 59 Ah

• Typical discharge range is from 30 minutes to 3 hours

• Pocket plate technology

• Operate in temperatures from - 20°C to + 50°C
