HBL VentPro batteries combine rugged nickel-cadmium pocket plate technology with more than 95% gas recombination efficiency. Designed for industrial standby applications, VentPro batteries require no water additions during normal use when operated according to HBL’s recommended conditions.

Available in medium-discharge HVM and long-discharge HVL configurations, the VentPro range provides capacities from 7 Ah to 1,680 Ah. This extensive selection allows batteries to be closely matched to the application while reducing the potential need for parallel strings.

Next-Generation Valve-Regulated Ni-Cd Technology

VentPro is HBL’s next-generation valve-regulated nickel-cadmium battery range. It improves upon first-generation valve-regulated pocket plate technology with enhanced discharge performance, greater gas recombination efficiency, and ultra-low maintenance requirements.

The VentPro separator system facilitates the recombination of gases produced during charging. With gas recombination efficiency exceeding 95%, water loss is significantly reduced and routine water additions are not required under recommended operating conditions.

VentPro batteries are designed to comply with IEC 62259 and are certified by Intertek.

Choosing Between HVM and HVL

The correct VentPro range depends on the required load, backup time, end-of-discharge voltage, operating temperature, charging system, and available installation space.
