Generex Systems BACS ATEX

ATEX is an abbreviation for "ATmosphere EXplosible". The ATEX directives describe a binding catalogue of measures to either prevent the formation of an explosive atmosphere (which is not always possible with special systems due to operational reasons) or, if such an atmosphere has formed, to avoid the necessary ignition energy.

ATEX enclosed BACS is designed to manage batteries within these zones!

In principle, all you need are some basic tools like a screwdriver, a wrench and, if necessary, some crimping tools and cutter to carry out a complex ATEX - protected BACS installation*.

BACS will not only protect your batteries, it will also the most capable management system on the market to prevent thermal runaways - A significant advantage when batteries must be installed within an ATEX environment.
