The Stryten Energy (Previously GNB Industrial Power) EHI family of revolutionary battery chargers is based on an architecture of high efficiency, unity power factor (PFC), and software-defined charge control for flooded-cell and valve-regulated industrial batteries.
When used with Lead-Acid batteries, the ultra-filtered output current and the unique control algorithm ensure a perfect mixing of the electrolyte, while reducing the water consumption and the temperature rise of the battery, as well as the energy consumption.
The charging curve is pre-programmed for each battery type. The EHI products are controlled by a central microprocessor, complete with intelligent alphanumeric display & keypad. The display can query many charger parameters including Charge History Logger, Programmable Real-Time Clock and Calendar, and Audible Alarms. The EHI connectivity package provides wireless communication with the Battery Identification Modules.
The EHI Series offers the latest in software-defined charging profiles to control the optimal charging current for flat-plate, tubular, and sealed VRLA motive power batteries. The charging curve is pre-programmed for each battery type.

EHI Energy Efficiency:
The GNB EHI Series meets stringent California Energy Commission energy-saving requirements, with chargers that are more than 92% efficient. The 3-phase model boasts a power factor greater than 97%.
EHI Opportunity Charging:
By using "opportunity charging," these small-profile chargers can be placed at convenient point-of-use locations throughout the warehouse. Truck operators can charge batteries on the fly.
EHI Ultra-Filtered Output Current:
When used with lead-acid batteries, the ultra-filtered output current and unique control algorithm ensure a perfect mixing of the electrolyte to reduce water consumption and temperature rise.
EHI Various Parameters:
Controlled by a central microprocessor, the intelligent alphanumeric display can query many charger parameters: charge history logger, audible alarms, and programmable real-time clock and calendar.
