Fortis redefines battery energy storage for data centers, delivering more power in less space with zero fire or gas risk. Built on EticaAG’s immersion-cooled NMC platform, the Fortis Series introduces two purpose-built configurations: the Fortis Sidecar for UPS systems and the Fortis 400 for ±400 VDC rack architectures.
Both use EticaAG’s proprietary LiquidShield™ immersion cooling and HazGuard™ gas-mitigation technologies to prevent ignition, eliminate toxic off-gassing, and maintain uniform thermal performance under peak load. A Smart BMS provides real-time monitoring, active cell balancing, and automatic fault isolation for maximum uptime and safety.
With fully ITC and FEOC-compliant options, Fortis gives data centers a scalable, U.S.-built energy platform that combines NMC-class performance with unmatched fire and gas safety.

Battery Immersion Cooling Technology
Just as many data centers submerge servers in non-conductive liquid, EticaAG’s immersion technology fully submerges every cell in a dielectric liquid, eliminating hot spots, lowering peak temperatures, and reducing thermal stress to slow aging and extend battery life.
Thermal Runaway Containment: LiquidShield isolates and contains thermal runaway events within the single cell, preventing fire propagation and catastrophic failure.
HazGuard Gas Management: Captures and contains off-gases at the module level, routing them to HazGuard where they're converted into inert gases for safe release.
