The battery operates across an exceptionally wide temperature range from -40°F to 140°F (-40°C to 60°C) when used with proper temperature compensation. Storage temperatures range from 14°F to 104°F (-10°C to 40°C), and batteries may be stored for up to 24 months at 60°F (20°C).

The AlphaCell 4.0HP+ utilizes threaded alloy insert terminals accepting 1/4-20 UNC hardware and measures approximately 13.4 inches long, 6.8 inches wide, and 8.5 inches high. Total weight is approximately 74 pounds.

Recommended float voltage is 13.5 to 13.8 VDC per battery at 77°F (25°C), while recommended refresh and boost charging voltage ranges from 14.4 to 15.0 VDC.
